Joe and I are always complaining about the lack of healthy, yet, fast options for food near our home. Then, one day we were driving down Ridge Road, actually looking for a Lebanese restaurant we saw advertised in a local coupon mailer, and we came across Sittoo’s. It looked nice from the outside, so we decided to turn around and go back to try it out. That was a great decision!
We discovered that Sittoo’s is owned by the same family who owns Aladdin’s Eatery. This is their faster food, lower cost version of Lebanese food. The location in Parma at 5870 Ridge Road is the first of 10 locations planned for the Greater Cleveland area in the next 5 years. I hear that Sittoo’s means “grandma’s” in Lebanese. So far, I have read nothing but great reveiws for Sittoo’s. Here is a little about our experiences.
Joe and I have ordered carry out from Sittoo’s 3 or 4 times, now. Each time the food has been fresh and flavorful. The restuarant itself is bright and clean, which is always nice to see. The Baba (puree of chargrilled eggplant, tahini, garlic and lemon) is delicious and so cheap at $2.35 for a small, which is enough for two people. I have had their lamb roll, which was cooked perfectly, as the lamb was very tender and juicy. Today I ordered the Business Lunch Special for only $4.95. It inlcudes Shish Kebob, Kafta Kebob, Chicken Shwarma and Falaffel served over rice pilaf, salad and pita bread. Delicious, healthy and filling. Joe ordered the Tawook Entree ($6.25) for the 2nd time in a row, which inlcudes grilled, marinated chicken served with rice pilaf, salad and pita bread.
So, if you are in the Parma area and looking for a healthy lunch or dinner option, try Sittoo’s!
I tried Sittoo’s tonight — Great food and very affordable prices! They had wonderful vegetarian options. Do you know where the other locations will be?
